Nancy Antle

"This was my first published book. I sold it outright which means I don't get any money for it if it sells well (royalties) but I love it anyway. It orginally had a brown cover and illustrations on every page. Now it has illustrations every other page and a yellow cover. I think I was very lucky to have a talented illustrator like John Sandford for my first book. The book has been in print continuously since 1985 and it keeps selling. I'm very proud of it."
